This series is an exploration of emotions and reactions in the face of unexpected news. When my family learnt about my father’s infidelity, a sense of gloom settled over us. At that moment, I decided to capture their responses.

What surprised me most was how their reactions defied my expectations, shifting the project from something deeply personal to a more objective observation of human emotion. It made me reflect on how the weight of certain revelations affects each of us differently, shaped by how we process and relate to the news.

 

Captured in 2014, this series has remained with me ever since. Today, I have finally found the courage to share it.
